Pre-requisites and Grading System (for CDL):
Passing Grade is 80% of General Knowledge, Air Brake and all CDL endorsements.
Student must:
* Be able to read, speak and understand English
* Attend at least 95% of scheduled classes
* Pass the City & county Pre-Inspection, Basic Skills, and Road Test (Behind the wheel).

Student Code of Conduct:
Valentine's Driving School Inc. will NOT tolerate the following (unacceptable) behaviors. Unruly/ Disorderly Behavior
* Fighting
* Harassing
* Stealing
* Mutilation of school property
* Unauthorized entry on school's property
* Use/possession of weapons
* Failing to comply with the directions of School Officials Interference with School Operations Furnishing False Information Should any of the above behaviors occur, the following sanctions will apply:
* Verbal Warning
* Written Warning
* Restitution of damaged property
* Removal/Dismissal from Valentine's Driving School Inc.
Smoking/Drug Free Environment:
Valentine’s Driving School Inc. is a non-smoking and zero tolerance/Drug-Free environments.
Complaints/Mediation Process:
* The student should speak to the instructor about the situation.
* If the situation is NOT resolved after a verbal discussion with the instructor, the student must state in writing the reason of his/her complaint.
* The written complaint must be in detail and valid information, e.g., date/time, facts, witness, etc. then provide his/her suggestion to resolution.
* Send the written complaint, attention of the President of Valentine's Driving School Inc.
* The President and designated personnel from Valentine's Driving School Inc. will provide feedback to the student after 15 days of receiving of the complaint.
Tuition Payment for CDL only: Fifty percent of tuition is due on first day of instruction. Balance due on last day of instruction.
Make-Up Sessions: If unable to attend any scheduled Instruction Student must call Instructor two hours before scheduled instruction appointment. Student will be responsible for CDL make-up session charge of $50.00 min of two hours session. Student will be responsible for Teen Drivers Education Program make-up session charge of $40.00 per session. Student will be responsible for Adult Drivers Education Program make-up session charge of $40.00 per session. Make-up charge must be paid in cash before the next schedule instruction session.
Teen Driver Education Certificate for Behind-the-Wheel:
Teen driver education certificate for behind-the-wheel can only be obtained by mail only. It must be mailed to Valentine's Driving School Inc. Please alound two weeks turn around time for staff to process from the time Valentine's Driving School Inc. receives the proper documents. Don't for get to enclose a self address stamp envelope for certificate and be sent back to parent. Parents and teen should not make any appointments till they have both certificates in hand.
Return Check Policy:
Insufficient funds checks are subject to a $20.00 service charge plus interest.
Refund Policy:
Student will be 100% refunded to tuition fees if Valentine's Driving School Inc. is notified three business days (Monday - Friday, excluding holidays) prior to class starting. Students that are dismissed will not be refunded any of tuition fees. Please allow 6 weeks for refunds.
